We started AutoMATES because that work is exactly what modern automation and AI agents are good at — and because most small and mid-sized businesses shouldn't need a full-time engineering team to benefit from it.
How we work
We operate as a specialist automation consultancy, not a generalist agency. Every engagement follows a clear consultant-led path: free discovery to understand the real workflow, a fixed-fee scope with agreed success metrics, build and test against your real systems using established platforms such as Make.com and n8n, and a proper handover so your team owns the result. After launch we stay close to make sure the automation keeps delivering value as your business evolves — and everything is built to plug into the systems you already use rather than forcing you onto new ones.

Suzy and Chris spent years helping some of the world's biggest companies grow — including BHP, Google, Procter & Gamble, and PepsiCo. Along the way, they saw the same story play out again and again: slow delivery, high costs, and layers of red tape that left smaller businesses priced out of the kind of expertise that fuels enterprise growth.
So they turned that experience toward automation and founded AutoMATES to close the gap — bringing that same caliber of thinking to businesses in the $3M–$30M range, but faster, more affordable, and genuinely personal. With a combined 40 years of experience driving growth for some of the world's most respected companies, they've adapted what they learned into something that actually fits how a growing business operates.
